TMSA Board of Directors named Mr. Adam Kaplan as the new secondary principal of TMSA Charlotte - QCSS during the special Board meeting earlier this week.

"Mr. Kaplan started his teaching career at TMSA and has proven himself a true educational leader through his commitment to TMSA, our mission, and the growth of our students and faculty. We are excited to welcome him back home," said Superintendent Karaduman.

After getting his Bachelor's in Computer Science, Mr. Kaplan started teaching Computer Science at Triad Math and Science Academy. Upon completing his Master's in College Counseling and Master's in Information Technology, he worked at Triangle Math and Science Academy as IT Manager and College Counselor, respectively. Mr. Kaplan was the Dean of Academics at TMSA Triad during the pandemic. After a hiatus at Apex High, he is back at TMSA, where he worked for 13 years.

"It is good to be back home," said Mr. Kaplan. "Becoming a part of TMSA Charlotte - QCSS Community has been a joy. It is truly a great experience."

When he is not at school, Mr. Kaplan enjoys spending time with his family and friends, running, and reading.
