Dear TMSA and QCSS Families,

We are about to finish a school year like no other we have seen in the past. We want to thank you all for your understanding, patience, and support to ensure that our students continue to receive the best education despite all the unprecedented challenges of the pandemic.

We are currently planning for the 2021-2022 school year.

North Carolina does not allow charter schools to have a remote learning option for the 2021-2022 academic year, although every major school district offers some type of virtual option.

TMSA’s partner organizations, North Carolina Association for Public Charter Schools and North Carolina Coalition for Charter Schools, have been lobbying for charter schools to offer a remote learning option for the next academic year. However, we do not yet know if North Carolina will allow us to have that option.

In the meantime, we want to conduct an informational survey about your interest in a remote learning option for the next school year and know what you would do if we cannot offer remote learning for 2021 - 2022.

Please fill out TMSA & QCSS PARENT INTEREST SURVEY: REMOTE LEARNING FOR 2021-2022? for each child you have enrolled in our schools by 8:00 AM Monday, May 3, 2021.

Thanks for your ongoing support and your participation in this survey – your voice is invaluable to us. We will strive to continue providing a safe and top-notch learning and teaching environment for our community.
