TMSA Triangle and TMSA Apex Reopen on August 29 (Monday) with First 4-Week On-Off Rotation
Dear TMSA Triangle and TMSA Apex Parents and Guardians,
We hope you are having a great summer break.
We want to update you about the new 2022-2023 academic calendar for TMSA Triangle and TMSA Apex.
Last week, TMSA Board decided both schools would reopen on Aug 29 (Monday). NC State Board of Education has approved this change along with TMSA Apex's Ready-to-Open (RTO) Progress Report this week.
There will be on-off rotation between the schools at the Cary Campus for the first four weeks:
- First Week (Aug 29 - Sept 2): Triangle K-8 will be using the Cary Campus, while TMSA Apex and Triangle High School will be off.
- Second Week (Sept 6 - Sept 9): Triangle K-8 will be off, while TMSA Apex and Triangle High School will be using the Cary Campus.
- Third Week (Sept 12 - Sept 16): Triangle K-8 will be using the Cary Campus, while TMSA Apex and Triangle High School will be off.
- Fourth Week (Sept 19 - Sept 23): Triangle K-8 will be off while TMSA Apex and Triangle High School will be using the Cary Campus.
- There will be no remote learning during off weeks. However, each school will provide suggested resources for students who would like learning opportunities during off weeks
- Sept 26 (Monday): Rotation ends, and the regular schedule starts. Each school will be on its own campus.
- No Fall Break (Thanksgiving Break on Nov 24 - 25)
- School Ends on Jun 14, 2023 (Wednesday) with 1025 hours in total.
Each school will work out the plan's details and provide additional information in the second or third week of July.
