Triad's Krystal Lipford Receives 2019 Exceptional Children Educator of Excellence Recognition

Krystal LipfordTriad's Math and Science Academy's Krystal Lipford was nominated as an Exceptional Children Educator of Excellence by a fellow colleague and recently was selected as the recognized Exceptional Children (EC) educator within the charter schools in their region. Ms. Lipford will be recognized at the Exceptional Children Division's 69th conference on Exceptional Children at the Koury Convention Center in Greensboro on Nov. 20-22 where she was presented with their 2019 Educator of Excellence Award. 

One educator from each of the 115 traditional school systems in the state, one each from the Division of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention, Division of Prison Education Services, Division of State Operated Healthcare Facilities, and Education Services for the Deaf and Blind Schools, as well as one educator per region from charter schools are selected for recognition.

Nominees are selected based on their exceptional leadership, dedication and service in extracurricular and nonacademic activities that have improved the quality of education for exceptional children and youth.
