Top-Notch Tuition-Free STEAM Education in Apex, Cary, Charlotte and Greensboro, NC!

TMSA is North Carolina's growing network of high-performing non-profit public charter schools focusing on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, and Mathematics). We serve more than 5,200 students from kindergarten through 12th grade on seven campuses in Apex, Cary, Charlotte and Greensboro.

For more than a decade, TMSA has brought a dynamic of change to K-12 education in North Carolina and raised the bar for high-quality and tuition-free STEAM education. We have more than 8,000 parents waitlisted for our schools.

We are a community of lifelong learners with big hearts empowering every student to seek knowledge, pursue wisdom, and foster peace in their own path. Our robust academic program and character education develop students' leadership skills to live in harmony with themselves, with others, and with the natural environment.

Welcome to TMSA!
